What does it do?
-
K-Docs Approve is a simple, role-based, document approval system, without the need to build Power Automate workflows.
-
It uses command extensions and field customizers to provide a solution which looks and feels as though it is a native part of SharePoint.
-
It is a state-machine solution which notifies stakeholder only when there involvement is needed.
-
Visual status indicators clearly show approval status and flag when documents need review supporting good information management and governance practices.
-
Libraries and folders are associated with an Approval Route which identifies users assigned to roles for Editing, Content Review, Quality Control and Approval
-
The solution is very flexible, if no users are assigned to a role, it is assumed that step is not required and so the process will naturally progress to the next relevant state.
-
At the end of a cycle, approved documents can be automatically converted to PDF and published to a remote location as the latest authoritative information source for consumers.
-

-

-
The access control settings in SharePoint are fully respected.
-
There is a Freemium version which is compelety free - you don't even need to register!
